After over two decades leading the West Chester (D-II - PA) football program, Bill Zwaan has announced his plans for retirement.
Zwaan shared the news that their upcoming game against Clarion this weekend would be his last at the West Chester Football Hall of Fame Banquet over the weekend.
He went an impressive 162-76 in twenty one seasons at WCU, and retires with a 216-90 mark overall as a head coach.
During the course of his career at West Chester, Zwaan led the program to six PSAC Eastern Division titles, including and outright PSAC title in 2018.
In 2021 he became the program's all-time winningest head coach and he twice led the Golden Ramps on deep playoff runs into the Division II national semis (2004 and 2013).
Entering the final week of the regular season, West Chester is 5-5 and takes on a 2-8 Clarion squad this weekend in the final game of Zwaan's historic tenure.
