Bob Stoops has just about had it with Paul Finebaum
It's hard to say who picked the fight with whom, but it feels like Bob Stoops and Paul Finebaum have been lobbing verbal grenades at one another for the better part of two years now. But with Oklahoma's come-from-behind win at Tennessee, the third straight season OU has downed an SEC team, and his Sooners not slated to play another SEC team until 2027, Stoops finished the war of words on Saturday night.
And if he didn't end it there, he did at his weekly press conference on Monday afternoon.
Stoops' job is to coach, and Finebaum's is to criticize every bit of coaching Stoops does. So it's no surprise Stoops (or the majority of his colleagues) don't have much patience for Pawwwwwwl.
