According to a tweet this morning from Jim Henry, Florida State coaching legend Bobby Bowden has tested positive for COVID-19.
Henry adds that Bowden gave him the green light to share the news, and adds that the former Seminole head coach feels good and tested positive following a recent release from hospital for a leg infection.
Bowden joins a handful of other coaches who have shared their COVID positive diagnosis that include current Florida State head coach Mike Norvell, LA Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn, Saints head coach Sean Payton, and Eagles head coach Doug Pederson.
Coach Bowden is 90 years old.
