Tradition dictates if a school is to change its uniforms, it typically happens when a new head coach is hired. Out with the old, in with the new -- that whole thing.
Buffalo and head coach Lance Leipold decided to wait a year.
A day after MAC bunk mate Miami (Ohio) unveiled new uniforms, the Bulls of Buffalo did the same.
The Bulls' colors are blue and white with a dash of black mixed in, but the new kits have confined the darker hue to its own uniform instead of making it a central ellement as Buffalo's old uniforms did. Also gone? The "State University of New York" mantra emphasized by former AD Danny White.
