Charlotte Siegel -- 2024 FootballScoop Director of Football Operations of the Year (DFO)

FootballScoop is proud to announce that Charlotte Siegel (Boise State) is the 2024 FootballScoop Football Operations Director of the Year, presented by AstroTurf as selected by prior winners.

Siegel was hired by Boise State head coach Andy Avalos prior to the 2023 season. When Spencer Danielson was promoted to head coach, Danielson promoted her, adding the "assistant AD / chief of staff" title as well.

Prior to joining the Boise State staff, Siegel was on staff at Vanderbilt for over 10 years, beginning as assistant to the head coach. Over the course of ten years, Siegel was promoted to Director of Internal Operations and then Director of External Operations.

Speaking about Siegel, Boise State head coach Spencer Danielson told FootballScoop, "Charlotte is the best in the business. She is a 10 out of 10 in all phases. Charlotte is a relentless worker and does everything to impact our players and help them become the best version of themselves."

Boise State general manager Brandon Jones offered, "Charlotte is a servant at heart. She values relationships, is a people person and she connects with everyone within our program. She sets a great example for everyone here, putting in the work to make us the best we can be; while she is also blessed with a great husband, Adam and two precious children who would tell you she puts them first as well.

One of the things I admire about Charlotte is how aware she is of her ability to help people grow within this profession. I can easily count 10 to 15 people who have learned from Charlotte and who she helped get to where they are today. She truly helps our program and the people in our profession keep moving forward."

Former DFO of the Year Jason Grooms told FootballScoop, "As a former collegiate soccer player herself, Charlotte was aware of what it takes to succeed at this level. Charlotte is very bright; but what has stood out to me over the seven years we worked together is how well she connects with people and is able to think through all of the details when planning something and consider the people involved and how this will impact their lives. She's has a servant's heart and that makes her a leader."
