Some of the best alternate uniforms we’ve seen in recent years have come from the service academies. After all, there’s just so much material there.

Joining that group is this new helmet Air Force debuted on Sunday. These lids, which will remind some of a certain age of Ice Man, Maverick and “Top Gun” — and, yes, we know they were in the Navy, but roll with me here — are dubbed the Falcons’ “Sharktooth” helmets.
