Over the course of the off season Dino Babers and the video guys killed it with their “Falcon Fast” series of videos (including one hilarious of college kids peeing their pants), and now the first year BGSU head coach has the Falcons poised for another run at the MAC title with their tilt against Northern Illinois on Friday at 7pm EST.

While talking about the prep for the game, and his history and relationship with Northern Illinois coach Rod Carey, Babers said something I found rather interesting.

“It is good that I know a little bit about coach Carey, but coach Carey also knows a little about me, so that kind of balances it out, and now it comes down to the players.”

“When it comes to preparing for a game like this – a coach isn’t going to win a game like this, but a coach can lose a game like this.”

“You want to make sure that you give the young men an opportunity to win the football game. So we’re crossing out T’s and dotting our I’s and hopefully putting those guys in good positions to make plays, and the team that makes the most plays with the least amount of turnovers.”
