Deion Sanders might be the single most polarizing figure to head a college football, perhaps ever.
He's got, what seems to be, equal amounts of encouragers and haters, and is unapologetically himself regardless of the opinoin on either side.
When it comes to the doubters though, Prime issued a special invitation during a recent interview.
Talking with former Colorado walk-on quarterback Joel Klatt in the first episode of Big Noon Conversations, Klatt mentioned fans not having a full grasp of the state of the program that had just finished a 1-11 season Sanders had signed up to transform.
Prime respectfully disagreed.
"No. They do. They just want to take a shot at me, and I'm good with that."
"They do. They know what it was, but this is their opportunity to take a shot. But...they better shoot now...because in a moment, you're not going to be able to shoot."
Prime would go on to share why he felt like the opportunity at Colorado was the right fit for him, their season opener against TCU, and also talked about why he doesn't have a problem with NIL, but does take issue with the now-popular collectives.
