2018 Changes
The 2017 season was Phase One of Rhule’s Waco rebuild, so it didn’t make sense to make major changes despite last year’s 1-11 record. And he hasn’t. The entire staff returns intact save for wide receivers, where Bob Bicknell left to coach wideouts for the Cincinnati Bengals and Titans wide receivers coach Frisman Jackson was hired as his replacement. Jackson spent 2015-16 as the wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator on Rhule’s Temple staff.

Tenth Assistant
Director of player personnel Evan Cooper was promoted to the on-the-field staff as a reward for his efforts in signing 47 players in Rhule’s first year on the job. His official duties beyond simply being the 10th assistant have yet to be assigned.
