Connor Stalions became a name that will forever live in college football history last fall when the Michigan illegal recruiting scheme created the most compelling storyline in recent memory.
Many have referenced him as the most hated man in college football after his actions launched NCAA investigations and led to a suspension for Jim Harbaugh.
...and that's exactly how his new boss introduced him as Stalions is set to be roaming the sidelines with a whistle and play call sheet this fall.
Stalions is the new defensive coordinator at Detroit Mumford HS (MI), and head coach William McMichael told The Detroit News recently, "I got the most hated man in college football right now, Connor Stalions."
"He's my defensive coordinator."
I'll go ahead and wonder out loud what everyone else is thinking at this point: Will his play call sheet include signals of the opposing offense?
Detroit-Mumford is a school of just over 850 kids.
They've put together back-to-back 1-8 seasons.
Their last playoff appearance? 2019.
Stalions is also set to have his version of the Michigan scandal air via a Netflix documentary later this month titled Sign Stealer, set to be released August 27th.
