Before joining the Upper Iowa staff, Morrison spent a decade on staff at D-II powerhouse Grand Valley State (D-II - MI), where he helped the program compile a record of 95-28 with two GLIAC titles and a five appearances in the Division II playoffs. Half of his time with the Lakers was spent as the team's offensive coordinator
Before joining the GVSU staff, Morrison previously spent nearly a decade at his alma mater, Wartburg (D-III - OH) in a variety of roles, including two seasons as offensive coordinator.
The South Dakota program also recently announced the addition of Rob Snyder, who spent the 2022 season as defensive line coach and defensive coordinator at Jesuit HS (New Orleans, LA), as their new defensive line coach. Snyder previously spent time on the support staff at LSU.
