Dallas Cowboys reportedly land Big Ten coordinator on staff (Junior Adams)

Just days after adding one of the best offensive line coaches in all of college football, the Cowboys are dipping back into the college ranks to fill another offensive position.

Todd Archer shares Brian Schottenheimer and the Cowboys are expected to add Oregon co-offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach Junior Adams to the staff as their new receivers coach.

The move will mark the first opportunity in the NFL for Adams.

The former Oregon State and Montana State receiver has climbed the coaching ranks, starting at the FCS level.

After stops at Montana State, UT Chattanooga, and Eastern Washington, Adams broke into major college football as the receivers coach at Boise State in 2014.

A few seasons there provided the opportunity to join the Western Kentucky staff as offensive coordinator and receivers coach.

By 2019, he made the jump to the Power conference level taking the receivers job at Washington, adding the offensive coordinator duties just a few seasons later in 2021.

He has been in Eugene with Dan Lanning since 2022 with the co-offensive coordinator title, working alongside Will Stein who is widely regarded as one of the play callers in college football.

In Dallas, he joins fellow college coaching veteran Conor Riley, who left his post as the offensive coordinator at Kansas State after a season calling the shots and previous stops coaching the offensive line at K-State and NDSU.
