Dan Lanning has agreed to a contract extension with Oregon, according to multiple reports on Tuesday.
Lanning's original contract ran for six years at $29.1 million in total, taking him through the 2027 season.
The extension adds a year to his contract, keeping him in Eugene through 2028.

UO Board expected to approve the extension Thursday.
John Canzano reported Lanning's salary would place him in the "top 15 to 20" among head coaches nationally, putting him in the $6 million range. Lanning earned $4.6 million in 2022 and was set to earn $4.7 million in '23 under the terms of his original deal.
The 37-year-old Lanning guided Oregon to a 10-3 record in his first season with the Ducks.
