While they may be coming off a four-win season, Colorado players Sheduer Sanders and Travis Hunter seem to get talked about more than any other potential 2025 NFL Draft hopefuls in college football.
In his signature swag-tastic tone, Deion Sanders shared on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast that he believes his son along with the Buffs star two way player will make up two of the top four picks in next year's NFL Draft.
He confidently added that one is going to go first overall.
“Now, all this is subjective because I know what I want, kind of want them to go. And let’s not forget Shilo," Prime shared, referring to his son that will be a senior defensive back for Colorado.
He went on to share there will be some NFL teams that his guys flat out won't play for, taking a page out of the book of some other highly sought-after talent of draft classes in the past.
"But I know where I want them to go. So there’s certain cities that it ain’t going to happen. Going to be a Manning...I’m sorry, it’s going to be an Eli,” Sanders said.
That statement refers to Eli Manning, who refused to play for the Chargers, who held the top overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. The Chargers selected him before trading him to the Giants about an hour later.
Whether the Colorado duo won't play somewhere based on weather, scheme, or some other reason wasn't disclosed.
