While some coaches dance around the question about commitment, Dan Lanning has been absolutely clear in his commitment to Oregon over the last two seasons.
Still, when a job like Alabama comes up, Lanning has earned the right to have his name mentioned for the opening after leading the Ducks to a 22-5 mark in his first head coaching stop.
Local reports mentioned Lanning was in Tuscaloosa yesterday, but this video just released by Oregon makes it clear Lanning isnt going anywhere.
"This place has everything I could ever want. There's a little bit of a problem in society for people looking for what's next and where there's an opportunity. The reality is the grass is not always greener. In fact, the grass is damn green in Eugene."
While he's saying that in the clip, the following message flashes across the screen: "If you're scared your coach is leaving...then come play for us...The Ducks aren't going anywhere...and I'm not leaving."
