Division III head coach resigns for high school head coaching job
The College of New Jersey (D-III) head coach Casey Goff has resigned after seven seasons to become a high school head coach
Goff has been announced as the new head coach of the Brooke high school Bruins, a school of about 900 kids enrolled in grades 9-12.
He leaves TCNJ after seven seasons. The past several seasons he's seemed to build considerable momentum, as the program has matched or improved their win total in each of the past three years.
Goff previously served as the head coach at Defiance College for a season in 2016, and he left the Yellow Jackets after one season for TCNJ in the summer of 2017.
The 2023 season marked Goff's best season with the Loins, as he led the program to 5-5 mark.
One of those wins was the program';s first win at Salisbury in over 20 years, and his staff earned co-Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
He also logged small college stops at William & Jefferson, Rhodes, Cortland State, and Muhlenberg.
At Brooke, he was hired by another former college head coach in former Bethany College (D-III - WV) assistant turned head coach William Garvey who led the Bison for nearly a decade.
