North Central has ended another undefeated season and finish the year as the nations top ranked Division III team.
The final D3Football.com Top 25 ranked the top 10 as follows:
1) North Central
2) Mount Union
3) Wartburg
4) UW-La Crosse
5) UW-Whitewater
6) Trinity (TX)
7) Johns Hopkins
8) Randolph-Macon
9) Susquehanna
10) Wheaton
NCC will look to defend their title after beating Mount Union in a 28-21 contest in last year's Stagg Bowl.
The Cardinals have been to the national title game the last three full seasons, and have won it twice and will be a favorite to bring home the hardware again this year.
32 teams got in, with 28 automatic bids being handed out for conference champions, and only four at-large bids up for grabs.
The at-large bids went out to Coe (D-III - IA), Wheaton (D-III - IL), Wisconsin-Whitewater (D-III), and Union (D-III - NY).

11 of the 32 teams that punched their ticket did so with undefeated records while another 13 in the field have just one loss to their name.
The D-III title game will take place December 15th.
This year's championship game is heading back to Salem, VA after it has rotated since 2021 from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium (Canton, OH), Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (Annapolis, MD).
The title game is set to head back to Turner Stadium next year before being played at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in 2025.
