On November 8th, after everyone heads to the polls to vote, a 5-4 Eastern Michigan squad is taking on
Instead of simply giving their helmet the traditional cookie cutter treatment of making the logo red, white and blue like so many other programs do, the Eagles decided to take things a step further.
The stripe going down the middle of their helmet on game day will feature a collage of names of former presidents, and the front bumper of the helmet will say "VOTE" with the "E" in EMU's green.
Credit the EMU program for thinking outside the box and doing something relevant and creative with their lids on the monumental day.
