Tuesday’s online clinic lineup features a former FootballScoop D-III Defensive Coordinator of the Year candidate, as our first FBS coordinator.

Today’s talks are scheduled for 12p and 3p EST.

At 12p EST, Illinois Wesleyan (D-III) defensive coordinator Grant Caserta will join us to talk about Creating a Prescriptive Tackling Plan. In 2016, Caserta was a finalist for our Defensive Coordinator of the Year at the Division III level during his time at Husson where they led the country in rush defense (1.6 yards per carry), while also leading the country in third down defense and rankings near the top nationally in a number of other categories as well.

Then, at 3p EST, Nevada special teams coordinator Thomas Sheffield is scheduled to school us on How to Create a Culture Within your Special Teams Units. Sheffield joined the Wolf Pack staff back in January after three successful seasons at Arkansas-Pine Bluff (FCS) and stops at North Texas and Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III – TX) as well.

For the time being, our plan is to continue to record these sessions 1-on-1 with coaches at the scheduled time and publish them as articles with the video as soon as soon as we wrap them up, and also upload them to the FootballScoop YouTube channel.

We had some great coaches on last week to kick the online clinic off. You can catch all of the up-to-date 2020 online clinic content right here.
