The FootballScoop staff picks 15 games a week.
Last week, seven of our 15 games were what I like to call Lone Wolf games -- matchups where one picker goes against the other three. One of those, Florida-LSU, was canceled. Among the six that were actually played, the Lone Wolf went 4-2. Yours truly went 3-1, hitting on South Carolina over Auburn, Kentucky over Tennessee and Memphis over UCF while whiffing on Houston over BYU.
In the real world, this is our best slate of games yet:
-- A Sun Belt clash of programs that won league titles in eight of the past nine seasons.
-- The first meeting of ranked teams in the North Carolina-NC State rivalry since 1993.
-- SEC schedule makers forcing us to pick between an Auburn team fresh off a loss to South Carolina and an Ole Miss team that just lost to Arkansas.
-- A meeting of two of the three unbeaten (in conference play) Big 12 teams.
-- A showdown of unbeatens in the American.
-- And, lest we forget, the returns of the Big Ten and Mountain West.
Let's eat.
