Fox will quarantine the on-air crew of its entire pre-game show for Saturday's broadcast, the network announced Wednesday night. The New York Postfirst reported the news.
Host Rob Stone and analysts Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Urban Meyer and Brady Quinn are all in quarantine out of "an abundance of caution," the network told the paper. The network has not said if any of the five men have the coronavirus.
The show was set to be "on the road" Saturday, broadcasting from the LA Coliseum ahead of the Arizona State-USC game, which will kickoff at 9 a.m. local time for the first week of the Pac-12's season. The show typically broadcasts from Fox's Los Angeles studios and only ventures out for big occasions.
Instead, Fox will call in Charissa Thompson, Emmanuel Acho, Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long to pinch hit, with the show reducing its run time from two hours to one. All four work elsewhere in the Fox ecosystem, most notably Bradshaw and Long on Fox's NFL studio team.
This is not the first time this season Fox has had to deal with a late change to its schedule. The network was set to air Houston at Baylor on Sept. 19 as its Big Noon Saturday game until it was canceled less than 24 hours before kickoff, knocking Fox's top game off the air that week.
