Georgia Southern and Appalachian State have an underrated rivalry, dating back to 1932. The two have only met 29 times, taking a long break over the middle of the last century, but have played continuously since 1993.
The Eagles and Mountaineers take their rivalry to the Sun Belt for the first time on Thursday, with Appalachian State traveling to Statesboro (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPNU).
