Georgia State will leave the vacated home of the Atlanta Falcons to play in the vacated home of the Atlanta Braves this season, and it could not be a better change for the program.

As you can see in the photos below, configuring a football stadium inside of a baseball stadium will always be a little clunky. The entire outfield section beyond the far stands will sit empty, and the seats behind home plate sit at awkward angles for football.

Still, when compared with the Georgia Dome? Holy Mother of Dragons is Turner Field an upgrade.

With an outdoor, permanent home all their own, there is no reason Georgia State should not be successful moving forward.
