Mike Gundy's promotion to get people out for Oklahoma State's dual wrestling meet with Penn State on Sunday worked.The Cowboys drew 14,059 fans to Gallagher-Iba Area on Sunday, nudging past the previous school record of 14,044.
Unfortunately, the head football coach's support wasn't enough to help the Cowboy wrestlers.
No. 1 Oklahoma State jumped out to a 13-0 lead before No. 2 Penn State roared back for a 27-13 victory. That victory included a Penn State wrestler wrestling through a broken ankle.
On Monday, Penn State's football staff celebrated the victory in a way that no one really wants to see, but we're going to show it to you anyway.
