One of the greatest things about the coaching profession is the feeling of camaraderie among fellow coaches. That camaraderie often includes hours on the road together recruiting, subtle (and no-so-subtle) jabs at one another at practice or jokes and trash talk around the office, and of course the sharing of ice cold adult beverages.
Since it is March, and the NCAA tournament is scheduled to begin with the play-in games today (a 6:15pm tip off of Florida Gulf Coast vs. Fairleigh Dickinson followed by Wichita State vs. Vanderbilt) and tomorrow (Holy Cross vs. Southern at 6:40pm EST and then Michigan vs. Tulsa at the conclusion of the first game) before the real deal gets started on Thursday (games start at 12:15), so we figured we'd get in on the action and create a group for our audience to connect on ESPN's Tournament Challenge.
Simply click this link, then search and join the group name "FootballScoop" and use the password "PerSource" to complete the registration. It costs nothing, and you can submit up to 10 brackets, all of which have to be completed by tip off of the first game on Thursday at 12:15pm EST.
We're just doing this for fun and to further promote camaraderie within our great profession, so make your picks, keep track of the leaderboard, talk some (or lots of) trash, and have some fun with the NCAA tournament.
If all goes well, maybe we'll throw in a FootballScoop t-shirt or other prize for the winner.
