Kevin Stefanski - Cleveland Browns head coach (Featured)

Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski will be the next head coach of the Browns.

Ian Rapoport initially broke the news, which was immediately confirmed by multiple outlets.

Stefanski nearly got the job last year, and was reportedly who Paul DePodesta wanted to hire; but the Haslams went with their gut and gave the job to Freddie Kitchens.

With Stefanski's hire, multiple folks have suggested the Browns could ultimately hire Vikings assistant general manager George Paton as their new GM.

Stefanski, 37, spent one year at Penn, serving as assistant director of football operations. He then joined the Vikings organization as assistant to the head coach. He has been with the Vikings organization ever since, rising from assistant to the head coach in 2006, to assistant quarterbacks coach in 2009, to tight ends in 2014, running backs in 2016, quarterbacks in 2017, interim OC in 2018, OC in 2019.....and now he's the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. What a country!

As a reminder, we're keeping tracker of all of Freddie's staff and Stefanski's new staff here on the Staff Tracker.
