Earlier this week Florida Atlantic went the wrong kind of viral when the Owls released a video of half-asleep Lane Kiffin pitching Owls fans on buying season tickets.
That claimed was contradicted by his own athletics department, who has deleted the original tweet.
Thankfully, an intrepid do-gooder downloaded the masterpiece and uploaded it to YouTube, where it will thankfully live forever.
That video has now inspired, uh, admirers. Here’s the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s winter warning video. The description: “TDOT is just as excited about winter as Coach Lane Kiffin is about FAU football and signing day! If winter comes calling, crews are ready to throw down some salt to get the job done. #GoTDOT”
Congrats, Kiffin. You know you've made it when you've been parodied by the Tennessee Dept. of Transportation.https://t.co/w71GPpdtec

And our personal favorite, Sports Illustrated’s Andy Staples “pitching” a subscriber drive ahead of National Signing Day.
The bosses saw the Lane Kiffin video and told me that what works for a season ticket sales drive will work for a subscription drive. pic.twitter.com/mMSIKvPKiX
