Mario Cristobal and Miami reportedly make a pair of hires (Miami)

Mario Cristobal has made a few important additions to his support staff in Coral Gables, according to reports tonight.

Arizona State director of scouting DeVontay Love-Taylor is set to join the staff as assistant director of player personnel, according to 247.

Taking the 'Canes job marks a return to The Sunshine State for the Florida native and former Florida State team captain who earned All-ACC honors as a player.

247 also adds that UAB personnel director Jacob Lucas is returning to the Hurricanes staff.

His role is set to be coordinator of scouting administration.

For Trent Dilfer at UAB, Lucas served as player personnel coordinator for offense.

Lucas worked on the recruiting staff at Miami prior to leaving for UAB.

The additions on the support staff come as Mario Cristobal enters a critical third season at his alma mater, and the first two seasons have culminated in a 12-13 overall mark (5-7 year 1 and 7-6 year 2).
