Mark Richt is out of the hospital and feeling great.
The former Georgia and Miami head coach shared an Instagram update on Wednesday from outside Sacred Heart Hospital in Miramar, Fla., where he said he was heading home to rest.
“I feel great. I’m looking forward to getting a little bit of rest and then getting back to work," Richt said. But God bless everybody who has been praying for me and for my family. It’s been wonderful. I felt the prayers, and they worked. I love you guys.”
Thankfully, Richt can be back to eating cheese balls on the beach by the time you read this.
Okay, maybe not.
