Meghan Ford will be the wide receivers coach at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, she announced Tuesday.
MMA is a Division III school located in Buzzards Bay, Mass. The Buccaneers compete in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Ford served as a student assistant working with the wide receivers while pursuing her Bachelor's degree at Coastal Carolina, which she obtained earlier this year. She previously accepted a quality control role at Harvard, but will now transition to an on-field role with Massachusetts Maritime.

I’m so thrilled for this next step, I know with it will come so much growth! I am SO grateful and SO excited!!! #DefendTheBay #AnchorDown pic.twitter.com/SpH1JYIHKd
Ford played football at Whitman-Hanson High School in Hanson, Mass., less than an hour's drive from her new employer; her MMA bio lists her as a wide receiver, but a Hudl tape created in her freshman year listed her as a offensive and defensive tackle.
Either way, Ford has been heavily devoted to building a coaching career, for as long as she can. She was a training camp intern with the Kansas City Chiefs last summer and participated in a number of women's coaching forums. Ford is positioned on the far right in the top photo.
