Yesterday, a report surfaced that Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell was expected to talk with the Jets about their head coaching opening.

Campbell has shot down a number of jobs over the years while building Iowa State into a Big 12 contender, and a tweet he shared today reads like he’s gearing up to do the same.

“So grateful for the commitment of so many to continue to want to build our program together. Our foundation has been built on Loyalty and Faithfulness and it will continue to be our guiding light. Humbled and Grateful to continue to lead to be different.”

Campbell doesn’t tweet from his account often, with just two other tweets since October since he sent that one, so when he chooses to tweet something like this, there’s clear intention behind it.

Another off season, and another big win for the Cyclone faithful.
