Miami (Ohio), coming off a stellar 2023 campaign under veteran coach Chuck Martin, has found its next tight ends coach, sources tell FootballScoop.
Andy Cruse is set to take over coaching the program’s tight ends, FootballScoop has learned.
A former Red Hawks player, Kruse earned an NFL tryout after a decorated collegiate playing career and then transitioned into coaching. He’s a former assistant coach at Cincinnati powerhouse Moeller who then went on to serve as head coach at Loveland.
After an 11-win 2023 campaign, Miami has a rigorous opening to its upcoming season.
The Red Hawks open at Northwestern, host Cincinnati and then travel to Notre Dame for their first three contests.
