Michigan reportedly losing member of defensive staff to NFL (wink martindale)

Sherrone Moore and Michigan are losing a key member of their defensive staff to Liam Coen and the Jaguars.

CBS Sports shares that Wolverines analyst Kevin Wilkins is expected to leave for the Jaguars, where he will serve as assistant linebackers coach.

He spent this past season working with the team's outside linebackers.

Wilkins spent just one in Ann Arbor after previously serving as Wolverines defensive coordinator Wink Martindale's right hand guy in the NFL while he was calling defenses for the Ravens and Giants.

Starting off as a video intern for Baltimore in 2015, Wilkins worked his way into a defensive assistant role where he worked with former Michigan defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald and Jesse Minter with the linebackers.

He was elevated to a defensive assistant role with the Ravens in 2021 before being hired to the same role for the Giants.
