-Alabama running back Derek Henry didn't waste any time giving Michigan State some bulletin board material over the weekend.

-Following the Miami-FIU sideline clearing brawl in 2007, a number of prominent sportscasters and analysts brought up the outrageous idea that the Miami football program should be discontinued. At least one Miami fan remembered those conversations following the fight inn the Texas-Baylor game.

-Fan at the MAC title game between Bowling Green and Northern Illinois tried to get an O-H-I-O chant going, but the crowd wasn't having any of it.

-Challenge yourself this week.

-Mike Rice, the Rutgers basketball coach who was fired for physically and verbally abusing his players, has been hired to lead a prominent New Jersey high school basketball program. -This used to be considered an amazing catch at the NFL level, but now OBJ is making one-handed grabs look routine.

-The Dallas Cowboys DBs, just aren't very good this year it seems.
