New SEC Shorts video: It ain't cheap being a Georgia fan this season

Hardcore Georgia fans have shelled out some serious coin to watch their Bulldogs their year.

Starting with their trip to Notre Dame, fans were willing to shell out an AVERAGE of $638 per ticket as of two days before kickoff, as this tweet from Darren Rovell notes.

According to Ticket City, tickets to the SEC title game, featuring a rematch of Georgia and Auburn, climbed to an average of $725. That shatters the previous previous record high from the last few seasons of $425 set in 2012.

Following their Rose Bowl win over Oklahoma Monday night, tickets to watch Georgia play Alabama in the national title game weren't exactly cheap. The cheapest ticket according to Sporting News yesterday was $2,080, and that figure will climb as we get closer to kickoff.

To poke some fun at the outrageous ticket prices, the funny folks over at SEC Shorts (who have put together a number of videos the last few months we've profiled before), put together.

Here is; It ain't cheap being a Georgia fan this season.
