Nick Saban shares Miss Terry's pre-golf chores list for him during retirement (Chores)

In a lot of ways, Nick Saban is the epitome of what most coaches strive to be.

Without rattling off his entire impressive resume, the man is a winner of multiple championships, elite developer of talent, the ultimate CEO of hiring guys without skipping a beat, and of course the ultimate leader of leaders.

But he's also just like all of us in a lot of ways, and that has never been more evident than during a recent chat with ESPN while The Masters was being played in the background.

Asked if Miss Terry wants to kill him yet, just four months into his retirement, Saban's response revealed just how much he's just like the rest of us.

"You know, the day after I retired, I got the 12 commandments of retirement. So, I've tried to live by them, but I found out that if I do my chores...then I can go play golf."

"So I get up early and get my chores done and then it's like 'Do I have a free pass to go do what I want to do?"

Asked about what his chores are, Saban shared that he wakes up and makes his bed and also takes the garbage out and has to wait for Miss Terry before he eats so they can eat together, and he adds that he has to leave a little food on his plate as a token that the food was really enjoyable.

Hear from Saban in the clip.
