Northern Illinois wants your help in picking from six new field designs
Via their Instagram account, Northern Illinois has released six field designs for fans to choose for the new field turf that's going down in DeKalb.
The kicker is that every day one of the designs will be booted, until only the winning field design remains.
If it's up to me, I'm rolling with the first or fifth options. I've always been a fan of the oversized logo, and I'm also a firm believer in embracing your community when it comes to this, so the corn stalk silhouettes seem like a good option.
They could always take a page from Texas A&M Commerce and go with a 50-yard logo prominently highlighting the Huskie. That would make a splash
