If all goes according to plan, Northwestern will move to a new and improved version of Ryan Field as they kick off the 2026 season.
Today, they rolled out a few new renderings of what that will look like for fans and those in the program.

The official groundbreaking on the two-year project is underway.
It's an $800 million undertaking, 100% privately funded, and with seats for 35,000 in what they've boasted as "one of the most accessible stadiums in college football."
In between now and 2026, David Braun and the Wildcats will have one of the absolute coolest temporary stadiums college football has likely ever seen as Northwestern is set to host a bunch of their home games on the shores of Lake Michigan when they repurpose their practice field in a manner similar to what you see at 16th hole of the Waste Management Open.
Construction on that temporary home is already underway, and the first game at the 15,000 seat stadium is scheduled for August 31 against Miami of Ohio.
Below are the images of that setup Northwestern sent to season ticket holders back in May.
