Ohio State flying to Illinois on game day (Updated) (Ohio State)

Update: Ohio State won't be flying anywhere, because the game has been cancelled due to additional cases within the Buckeye program.

Ryan Day will not coach No. 4 Ohio State on Saturday, but the Buckeyes will still make the trip to Champaign. And they'll make the trip on game day.

Road trips have brought an uptick in cases for a number of programs and, with its team already battling rising numbers, Ohio State will fly out on Saturday morning.

The itinerary calls for an 8 a.m. ET departure and an 8:11 a.m. arrival -- they'll cross time zones in the air -- ahead of an 11 a.m. kickoff.

If Ohio State comes out firing, you'll have to wonder if it will inspire other teams to try game-day traveling in this strange season.

As always, stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest.
