Ohio State recently completed a renovation of the Woody, and part of the Buckeyes' new locker room includes space for former players now in the NFL reserved specifically for them.
This is a great idea in a "killing two birds with one stone" type of way.
First, it gives former players a greater incentive to come back to campus, which is desirable for a number of reasons. And second it's another way to reminder recruits "Oh, did you notice that all these NFL players happened to play at Ohio State?"
Most programs have an open door policy with their NFL alums, but not many have a space reserved quite like this.
