There was no doubt this past weekend’s game vs Penn State was a big one for the Pitt Panthers. Heinz Field was electric, the crowd was raucous, yes, friends, this was the renewal of a once bitter, and yet fantastic RIVALRY game.
Thursday morning before the game, a Penn State site decided to share their opinion.
Pitt, at least in its current state, is simply not good enough to be Penn State's rival. We deserve better. https://t.co/2o9M5VFKJ9

I instantly knew Coach Narduzzi would use this bulletin board material to his benefit.
Assuming Pitt wins, Narduzzi might reference this while still on the field https://t.co/B9Uo0aGZq0

I was wrong on one thing though, Narduzzi didn’t reference it on the field after the game, he referenced it to his players immediately before the game.
Grab some popcorn, sit back and enjoy watching Pat Narduzzi and his staff motivate their players to give their all for Pitt. Great video. Don’t miss the 1:33 mark.
On a related note, during and following the game, James Franklin was not pleased with Pitt’s defense clapping before Penn State snapped the ball.

This, my friends, is funny:
If Pat Narduzzi has a sense of humor he will send this to James Franklin as a Christmas present…. pic.twitter.com/7j4W8AzzrO
