Ola Adams has had a whirlwind coaching journey the past several years as a fast rising young coach.
At Villanova, the former AFCA 35 Under 35 selection went from coaching the running backs, receivers, corners and coordinating special teams to taking over as defensive coordinator in 2019, where his defense was led the league, and was among the top in the the country in a few key statistics during the shortened 2020 campaign.
In 2022 he joined the Temple staff as co-defensive coordinator for about a month before an opportunity to head to the NFL to become a defensive assistant with the Broncos was presented.
Now, Adams is set to head back to his home state of Pennsylvania as a member of the Penn State support staff.
Adams announced today he is joining James Franklin's staff as an analyst.
Franklin has been a frequent speaker at the AFCA's annual 35 Under 35 event, and has made it known that the event is a great networking opportunity for him to keep track of the profession's young up and coming coaches.
