As of right now, San Diego is fighting to keep the Chargers, the franchise's only home since its 1959 inception as an AFL franchise, from moving up the Pacific Coast Highway to Los Angeles. Today, in fact, San Diego officials will make a presentation to the committee of six owners handling the league's interests in America's second-largest city.
And like St. Louis before them, the prospect of watching their team walk to L.A. has inspired San Diego's powers that be to plan a new stadium, which the mayor's office has published and we have posted below.
