Pitt reveals steel uniforms inspired by the city and campus

Pat Narduzzi and Pitt revealed a really nice looking set of black uniforms over the weekend.

The new threads have design elements inspired by the city of Pittsburgh and its steel roots, as well as the college campus.

The uniforms are dark gray with light gray numbers with gold accents, and the helmet is light gray with their Panther head logo in a darker gray. The unis also feature a gold patch of a blacksmith and an anvil on the front.

With such a cool history as The Steel City, you could make the argument that these uniforms are long overdue.

Pitt will wear these this weekend as they take on Louisville at home on the 26th.
