Purdue's Jeff Brohm tests positive for COVID (Purdue)

Purdue has announced that head coach Jeff Brohm has tested positive for COVID today.

Via the school's release.

"During Purdue's daily COVID-19 testing on Sunday, Oct. 18, head football coach Jeff Brohm returned a presumed positive result via an antigen test, we are awaiting confirmation via a PCR test. He informed his staff and the team this afternoon and is currently at home in isolation. Coach Brohm will address the media via a Zoom call Monday during his scheduled weekly press conference at 11 am EST."

Brohm joins Florida's Dan Mullen and Kansas' Les Miles as head coaches that have recently tested positive. Nick Saban tested positive last week, but that turned out to be a false-positive test and Saban coached the Tide to a win over Georgia on Saturday, and Florida State's Mike Norvell tested positive a few weeks ago and had to quarantine.

Purdue is set to open the season this weekend against Iowa.
