Rapoport: Joe Brady could pair with NFL DC if he gets head coaching job

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted a whopper on Monday:

You surely have lots of thoughts, the first of them probably being: "Who is Wink Martindale?" Martindale is the Ravens' defensive coordinator, a job he has held for the past two seasons. This is Wink Martindale. Some more questions: 1) A top candidate for who? 2) What, exactly, is the connection between Wink and Brady? The pair have never worked together. Martindale joined the Ravens' staff as linebackers coach in 2012 before his promotion to defensive coordinator in 2018. Brady didn't start coaching until 2013, and he's spent exactly zero days working in Baltimore. Brady is everyone's top choice for offensive coordinator, but him agreeing to leave LSU for a hypothetical NFL job with a first-time head coach that he's never worked with, well, that certainly stretches the imagination.
