" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">KSR's Matt Jones, Kentucky is bringing in a a former FBS head coach to fill the position. Jones shares that former Boston College head coach Jeff Jagodzinski, who led the Golden Eagles from 2007-08, is joining the staff to help coach the offensive line for the rest of the year. We can confirm that coach Jags has joined the program. Jags has a wealth of experience on top of that successful two-year run at Boston College (where he went 20-8) including time in the NFL as an offensive coordinator including with the Packers and Bucs, and in college at BC, and recently at Georgia State (2013-15). Despite 11-3 and 9-5 marks in two season stint at Boston College, his tenure quickly soured when he interviewed for the head coaching job with the New York Jets against the advice of BC athletic director (at the time) Gene DeFilippo. He most recently served as the offensive coordinator / offensive line coach for the Dallas Renegades of the XFL. Stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest.
