Matt Viator will not return as ULM’s head coach, according to a report Monday from Aaron Dietrich of KNOE-TV in Monroe.
The Warhawks are 0-10 with one game remaining, Dec. 17 at Troy. ULM has played just one opponent within 18 points this season, losing by an average score of 42-16.
ULM did not reach a bowl game in five seasons under Viator’s leadership, peaking with a 6-6 campaign in 2018. His record stands at 19-39 as of today.
Viator took the job after 10 seasons at McNeese, where he went 78-33 with four FCS playoff trips.
