Ohio State players will report back to campus on June 8, according to a report Tuesday from Bucknuts.

Like everyone else in the sport, Ohio State has been away from campus since mid-March. The defending Big Ten champions got in three spring practices before the pandemic shut everything down. Ohio State was among the first schools to suspend recruiting operations before the coronavirus had totally shut things down in early March.

SEC presidents will vote Friday on whether or not to bring players back to campus as soon as June 1, and Big 12 presidents are holding similar conversations. In-person team activities are currently barred in the Big Ten through June 1.

Some Ohio State coaches were allowed back in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center starting Monday, with social distancing rules applied.
