Dan Quinn, who signed a contract extension through 2022 last summer, has gotten a vote of confidence from Falcons owner Arthur Blank, but a recent report states that there's a "strong possibility of significant changes" coming to the Atlanta staff.
NFL insider Tom Pelissero states that both offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel may be on their way out in an effort to overhaul both sides of the ball.
Pelissero adds that one name to keep an eye for Quinn to possibly add on offense is former Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, who Quinn actually had come in to work with the coaching staff last spring on some stuff. Bevell & Quinn are well acquainted from their time together as coordinators on the Seahawks staff under Pete Carroll.
On the defensive side of the ball, where Quinn excelled as a coordinator before landing the Falcons job, he may have some in-house options if he decides to promote from within. There is former UCLA defensive coordinator and current linebackers coach Jeff Ulbrich, former Indiana defensive coordinator and current defensive backs coach Doug Mallory, and former Florida defensive line coach Bryant Young who currently works with the team's defensive line as well as defensive pass game coordinator and veteran NFL assistant Jerome Henderson.
